Labor Day Hunt was another enjoyable quick read from Calvin Demmer, another short story I was happy to power through. For a short story, there was plenty of action packed into this one. As soon as the story started, things were moving rapidly.
Although I enjoyed this one, I didn’t enjoy it quite as much as I’ve enjoyed other short stories from Calvin Demmer. It was a fun little read, but it didn’t quite blow my mind.
As I’m picky about short stories, however, I’m blaming the fact I wasn’t in love with this one on me instead of the story.
