For those who have read and enjoyed Season of Atchem, the first book in Jennifer Arntson’s Scavenger Girl series, The Blessing is a wonderful little extra. Perfect to read between Season of Atchem and Season of Talium, The Blessing gives us a nice little bonus scene providing us with insight into the character of Blue.
As someone who is really interested in the development of Blue’s character and how certain elements will play out, I really enjoyed this little bonus scene. Although it is not a necessity to understand the series – for example, I read it after book two rather than between one and two where it belongs – it is a nice little extra.
A fun quick read.
