Review: The Duke's Scottish Lass

The Duke's Scottish Lass The Duke's Scottish Lass by Tammy Andresen
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Tammy Andresen is my go-to author for my guilty pleasure historical romance reads, an author I will gladly pick up whenever something new is offered. In the case of The Duke’s Scottish Lass, we’re given a story previously published as Taming a Lady Wolfe and rereleased as the prequel to the Brethren of Stone series. I’d been interested in the story when it was previously released as Taming a Lady Wolfe, yet the rereleased version of The Duke’s Scottish Lass has left me super eager to see what the Brethren of Stone series brings.

Like all Tammy Andresen reads, this was a quick and fun story. It offers all the necessities for any enjoyable historical romance, sucking us in from the very first page and leaving us desperate for more on the last. With The Duke’s Scottish Lass being a prequel story, it’s even shorter than the average Tammy Andresen read – but this does not lessen the enjoyment. In fact, this story is just as powerful as any Tammy Andresen story you will stumble across.

With the necessary drama and great chemistry between the characters, you’ll finish this one in no time at all. It is easily a single sitting read, one you will finish before you know what is happening. When you’re done, you’ll find yourself searching everywhere for the information of when we can get the first longer story in the Brethren of Stone series.

Without a doubt, this is another Tammy Andresen series I’m going to be devouring.
