Review: Marquess of Malice

Marquess of Malice Marquess of Malice by Tammy Andresen
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Marquess of Malice is the second book in Tammy Andresen’s Lords of Scandal series, and it’s a great addition to the series. Although this can be read as a standalone romance, I do recommend reading book one and the prequel to get the best understanding of the story. There are certain elements of this one that continue what we were previously introduced to, and it will have you enjoying the development of the overall story arc more.

Whether you’re reading this as a standalone or as part of the series, Marquess of Malice is a quick read filled with plenty of drama to keep you turning the pages. Tammy Andresen sucks you right into the story, and you quickly fall in love with the characters. Although I saw some of the things coming, this was not enough to take away from the book. Every chapter packed a punch, and I was more than happy to devour it in a single sitting.

All in all, Marquess of Malice is well worth the read if you’re a fan of historical romance.
