Amy’s Square is one of those books that simply was not for me. I gave it a try, but it was just too slow for me, I felt I was waiting far too long for anything to happen.
I’m sure there will be many who enjoy this – Dominic Schunker has a unique way of storytelling that is sure to pull people in – but it did not work for me. When it comes to books of this genre, I’m very much an instant gratification type of person. There was some intrigue at the very start of this book, but it then took a long time before things started to move towards explaining.
Although not for me, Amy’s Square is likely to work for many others.
