Shadow of the Demon by Joseph Lewis Tamone
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Shadow of the Demon is the second book in Joseph Lewis Tamone’s Philanthropy series and continues the story of Fusion World in plenty of interesting ways. For those that finished Fusion World with questions of what happens next, Shadow of the Demon offers plenty whilst leaving readers with more questions.
To understand Shadow of the Demon, you do need to have read Fusion World. We get to dive deeper into the history of many characters, finding out more about their lives, with these details coming into play in the main story. It was nice to see more of these characters, to understand these elements of them better, and the way these details were intertwined with the overall story was great.
As enjoyable as it was to understand the characters better, more enjoyable is the introduction of a new world. The universe is explained much better in this one, we get to see much more of it, and there are so many possibilities introduced. It’s one of those stories where it could be science fiction or fantasy, leaving you with open questions for the final book that will explain how everything comes together.
All in all, Shadow of the Demon was an enjoyable second book that has me curious to see where the story will go in the next book.
